Mosaïque FM
Mosaïque FM is the first private radio station in Tunisia. Currently, covering much of the north of the country it is in the vague of enlarging its reach to the whole territory. It is also broadcasted online via its website.
Launched on 7 November 2003, it employs today 100 employees and about 45 collaborators, regional correspondents and independent consultants. Mosaïque FM became quickly known and it is now the most listened to radio in Tunisia.
It was long considered the "radio Trabelsi" because Belhassen Trabelsi, brother of former first lady Leila Ben Ali, holds 13% of the shares; founder and director of the radio, Noureddine Boutar, is the majority shareholder. Since the 2011 revolution, the Trabelsi shares were confiscated by the Tunisian State.
