Radio Orient SAL owns the Lebanese station Radio Orient broadcasting from Beirut. It was founded by Raghid El-Shammaa, a French-Lebanese businessman based in Paris, and sold to Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in late 1994. It obtained its license the same year.
