A Lebanese independent joint-stock company that owns Voix de Tout le Liban (VDTL) and uses the 93.3 MHz frequency band in Beirut, 93.5 MHz in the North and 93.1 MHz in the South, the Bekaa, Batroun and Akkar. It is owned by the heirs of the late Simon Al-Khazen – the former vice-president of the Phalange Party – who have been running the radio station since the 1990s. Until 2017, the radio station owned by Société Moderne d'Information SAL was named Voix du Liban (VDL), until a court decision gave the right to the brand name to the Phalange Party-affiliated Société Nouvelle d'Information Audiovisuelle SAL. In other words, the ownership of "Voice of Lebanon” trademark was a matter of legal dispute between the Phalange party, which was the main owner of the station in 1975, and Modern Media Company. In January 13, 2020, the General Board of the Court of Cassation ruled that: “In light of the lawsuit filed by Modern Media Company S.A.L. in 2017 against the Lebanese State and those required to be included: Lebanese Phalange Party, Voice of Lebanon S.A.L., Société Nouvelle d’Information Audiovisuelle S.A.L. and Radio Liban Star S.A.L., the Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeal considered that the trademark “Voice of Lebanon” acquired distinctiveness through use. In addition, it has not been proven that the Phalange Party has officially waivered the use of the aforementioned trademark, in favor of Modern Media Company, but rather has given it an implicit power of attorney to do so.
