Awni El Kaaki
Awni Al-Kaaki is a Lebanese journalist who has been president of the Lebanese Press Order (LPO) since 2015. The LPO’s board, which officially represents newspapers’ owners, actually accommodates sectarian political parties across the spectrum. Kaaki is the General Manager of Dar Al Sharq and editor of the El Shark newspaper and Nadine magazine. In 2022, his magazine was slammed for the misogynistic portrayal of women.
