Choueiri Family
The Choueiri family owns the Choueiri Group, the leading media representation group in the Middle East. Choueiri Group operates in ten markets covering the MENA region, Europe and Japan, through a network of twelve subsidiaries, six representative offices and more than 700 executives. Choueiri Group’s companies market and manage the advertising space of more than 50 represented media outlets. In Lebanon, Choueiri Group manages the advertising of the following media outlets: LBCI, Annahar, L'Orient-Le Jour, Noun, RLL, VDTL, Fame FM, Light FM, Mix FM, Radio One, and Virgin Radio. The founder of the Group, the late Antoine Choueiri (1939-2010), was the president of one of the most successful basketball clubs in Lebanon, La Sagesse, and a close advisor and partner to LBCI Chairman Pierre Daher, while remaining a loyal supporter of Samir Geagea's Lebanese Forces political party. The Group is also involved in outdoor advertising and in large scale exhibition and fair organizing. Pierre Choueiri, son of the founder Antoine Choueiri, is currently CEO and Chairman of the group. He has been named 26th of the 100 most influential people in Dubai by Arabian Business.
