Salah Salam
Salah Salam is a Lebanese journalist. His daughters Nisrine, Sirine, and Nadine own 98% of the shares of Dar Al-Liwaa, Al-Liwaa newspaper’s publishing house, founded by his brother Abdel Ghani Salam. Salah Salam owns 1% and his wife Najwa 1% as well.
He unsuccessfully ran for the Presidency of the Lebanese Press Order and lost to El-Shark owner Awni Al-Kaaki in 2015, and for a parliamentary seat in Beirut during the 2018 election.
