Société Moderne d’Information SAL is an independent joint-stock company that owns Voix du Liban 93.3 FM. It is owned by the heirs of the late Simon El-Khazen – the former vice-president of the Phalange Party – who have been running the radio station since the 1990s.
The Société Moderne d’Information is currently in a legal controversy with the Phalange Party, the initial owner of the radio in 1975 (see Société Nouvelle d’Information Audiovisuelle SAL) regarding the ownership of Voix du Liban trade name.
